2.9 harmonic balancer compatablitly?

my harmonic balancer is old and warn out and is really starting to squeal bad so i need to change it. i have been lookign around and they are so expensive but i came across one for 25 bucks it sais it is for a 1986- 1989 2.9 ranger but my problem is i have a 1990 ranger with the 2.9. is there any difference? i would like to get the part if its the same. you answers will be appreciated thank you
