Don't hate on me too much, I've searched for about an hour and didn't find anything.

Would it be fine to stick an adjustable fuel pressure regulator onto the 2.9L v6 in my truck? It's a 90 Ford Ranger.

I really don't see why I couldn't, the only reason I'm asking is to see if there's something I don't know about.

I dont know of anyone using one on here but I'm sure there are.

I know that the fuel PSI fluxuates between 30 and 40 psi. I would think that it would be a problem.

Why not just buy the OEM style vacuum FPR's? If it's the price, I hear you....try Rockauto. I bought one for 30 bucks from there about a year ago.
