2.9 engine miss?

with no knocking now, that I can detect, I am hoping to just get rid of the 25 code. And lose the lack of power.

if your not losing oil and the plugs stay clean its not an issue mine had 2 good seals all the others were shot it blew black smoke when i started it after sitting a few minutes

there is a way to test the knock sensor using milli volts or ohms i believe I did some study on them but could not find out any info on the ford ones and how they function

plug the loose sensor in and start the motor put the timing light on the marks then tap the sensor and see if it retards the timing

wonder if I just check for ohms by hooking up the meter and tapping on it. Gonna give it a try here. hang tight a minute.

true. won't be able to start the truck until the morning. will hook up the replacement and do that.

if it responds it would be a wire the black and white is common to all the sensors and the yel/red goes to th computer pin 23

does the knock sensor wire have a plug up by the coil on the drivers fenderwell that connects to the main harness
