2.9 auto trans to manual trans

My friend is in the process of removing a 2.9 from a al4d to a manual trans 4x4. He is going to send me some pics and says they cant be swapped?

Not sure what manual tranny is planned to be swapped in but this is in the tech Library.

No, the motor in the automatic trans truck is good. The 4x4 has a manual trans. I told him that he should have to only change the flywheel from the manual trans motor with the torque converter and it will drop in. He also has no egr on the good motor so he should have to swap the ecm as well.
