2.9/4.0 swap

looking to do a 2.9 to 4.0 swap... i have all the info to do a complete swap computer dash and all... but i thought i saw somebody say that you can just switch all the sensors off the 2.9 and use them on the 4.0 and not change anything else... so here is my guestion... it that true or not?

Nope, not true.

IACs are almost always never swappable between motors, even if they look the same.
The 4.0L is EDIS, the 2.9L has a distributor.
The 4.0L has a MAF sensor, only california emission 2.9L Rangers post 90 had MAS.
