just wondering if plugs from a 2.9 will work in a 3.0?
thanks

not really. They might fit, but it probably won't run very well. Different ignition systems wanting and producing different heat ranges and such.

true but its not the 3.0 with the coil pack, it still got the distributor if that matters

eh, copper plugs are about 2 bucks a piece. not worth the aggravation of having to yank them if they are not compatible. just get what you need for it and do it once.

Napa's website lists different part numbers for the 2.9 and 3.0. I'm gonna say no.

ok, well i already bought NGK plugs for my B2 but shes out of comission and the plugs are here still in the package, figured id put em in my new 94 ranger if theyd fit

Even for a dizzy system 3.0, I'm still getting a different part number. That can affect everything from threading to heat range. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I'm betting that it wouldn't work as well as the right plug if at all.
