ok so the 85 2.8l just dosent have the power i want its did me good for the most part but just looking for a little more will the 4.0l match up to my mounts what trans should i go with and a new rear end ==$>?

The 4.0 will bolt to the tranny you have but it HIGHLY recommend to use the tranny that the 4.0 comes with. If the 4.0 comes with an auto then an M5OD manual is what you will want to run behind her.
