2.8 heads and intake on 2.9

hey guys the title says it all. can i put 2.8 heads and intake on my 2.9? what would be involved with wiring? would i need a harness from a 83-85 carbd 2.8 vehicle? and the sending unit?

my understanding is that the 2.8 have a kind of siamesed set of exhaust ports, i think 2,3 and 4,5. I do know that the exhaust manifold was an identifier for the 2.8 in the parts ranger I had, but other than that I an kinda lost.
