Sons 98 Ford Ranger Splash (he got for $800) [body, interior in impeccable shape!!!!]
It ran (barely) got it home(I think they had that block sealant garbage in it)...and no runny no more, need a new head, o'rilleys offers two variants:
Part #: 2FM1 Line: PTQ /Part #: 2FW3 Line: PTQ

I need to find the casting # location on the block to ensure I get the right one

Pressure test on the cylinders #1-100+psi, #2-30psi, #3-0psi, #4-30psi. All 4 cylinders have cracks between the valves...and take a look at that head gasket...yeah, I say it's blown!!!!

Either I find the block casting # and compare that way...or gonna drag the daggum head up there and plonk it down on their desk and ask em to get me one...LOL

From what I remember, there are 2 different heads depending on t-stat bolt diameter.
