2.5 ton 85 ranger 18.4x30 tractor tires


np435 trans 6.68 1st gear and t-136 transfer case 2:1.........89.78:1 crawl ratio
 
I might be cutting the centers out so I can weld them into the tractor rims but if I dont I'll let you know.
 
you can have them when Im done. only 2 are good enough to use though other 2 are peeling

whats the point of the sub frame(truss or whatever you want to call it) if its not linked? i know theres other ways to re-enforce the frame without taking away so much clearance.

just curious.
 
By the time those tires are on the axles they'll be well over a foot away from any body panels.

It is going to be linked. not a 4 link but I will have link bars to keep the axles from wrapping. Also for the simple fact that I wanted to be sure the frame was not going to twist. I will have about 2800 lbs of un-sprung weight and I dont want thing breaking. I dont think I will have a clearance issue as the bottom of the subframe will be at around 48". I also built it so that one day when I have $5000 for coilovers and 4 links I can do that. :icon_cheers:
