2.5 ton 85 ranger 18.4x30 tractor tires

That a 302 under the hood? You gonna make any kind of like running board/ steps to get from say the bed to the cab?

Also what rims you gonna run the V treads on?

yep 302 .60 over, shaved deck, 11:1 compression, blue printed/balanced, aluminium 2.02 180cc heads, f-303 cam 1.72 roller rockers, parker tunnel web intake. decent little motor got a 125 shot just incase lol. when the trucks up and running im gonna start building a big inch big block.

30" Tractor rims with 6 lug flat centers I gotta weld in. I was gonna get some like this made but im not sure this is the size tire/rim im gonna keep so no sense in spending $1000 on 4 centers and not keep them.

And yea im making a running board that comes off the subframe.

Cool truck. Ya it does suck that Florida doesn't have much for trails and rocks and definitely no inclines. Well you gotta build the truck for what's around.

got em from some guys on chuckstrucks. fronts were $300 (used) rear $650(he bought them, & never used them.) a set of (4)24" springs new is about $2000 didnt do too bad.

The truck might be too big and kinda goofy but its gonna be fun for what im using it for.....If you've never been to a florida mud bog its hard to describe. lots of beer around a big hole with lots of boobs so....the taller the better you can see. lol.

2K for leafs? Damn you would have been better off spending a little bit more and going with coilovers. Wouldnt ride like a dumptruck then.

Good point on the rims. I thought about getting a set of Stazworks custom made but they were super pricey.

Sounds like it should be a good motor

I priced coilovers...$2,500 for shocks springs, $800 for heims, jam nuts and bungs. $13.00ft for dom down here. I was looking at around 4-5k for a coilover 4 link setup. I spent right under 1k for the leafs. They will do fine for now. I figured I can run this for a year or so and upgrade to the coilovers.

Yea the motor should do fine..wish I would have gone big block though. there is a place called Longs Wheel and Rims out of Tallahassee, fl that will build you rims real quality work.

haha ive never been but sounds like an experience i couldnt pass up before i die hahaha

Yes i would. I want my bed though....got a stripper pole goin in it if the wife allows it lmao.

Haha. Saweet! You could front half the truck. Cut the frame at the front cab mount and tube it and make it wide enough for the BB to have room. Not sure if that would work with the leafs tho

it will have enough room anyways up front ive measured it

Oh okay I wasnt sure. Should be a beast. What are you running as far as trans, transfer case and gears?

There is only one gear set for 2.5 rockwells. 6.72:1 its the only drawback to the axles other than having 16 spline shafts.
