Is this a Bolt in?
Is the wiring similar or the same, because it'll be a takeout of a wrecked Ranger and should I get the Whole wiring harness just in case?
I could probably build my 2.3 and have a pretty stout motor with all the aftermarket and preformance shops out there, but would it be worth it or easier to drop in the 2.5?
I love my little 88 and don't want to get rid of it, it's a great little truck!
I just need some more power for climbing the "Grapevine" everyday!
Thanks
Jonny O

Put the crank and rods out of the 2.5 in your motor and redo the head.Bore it over 40 and put new pistons and rings, makes a nice little motor

Yeah...and if you want to put the forged pistons in now you can add a turbo later and up the boost for a real blast...
