like the title says, needa change it ... im assuming 5w 30 is the way to go

I believe it's either 4 or 4.5 as they went with a smaller filter than the FL1A used on the 2.3's...

It should take an FL400S, and the owner's manual says 4.5 qts, but I have found that 5 qts fills it better, as 4.5 only gets it to the bottom of the "full" mark on mine. And 5w-30 is what the manual calls for. I'm pretty sure Ford said to use 5W-20 after the fact, but I won't put that watery stuff in my crankcase.

however much it takes to fill it up....i always grab 6 quarts of oil when doin a oil change, that way when i put 5 in i have one just incase the oil level drops a bit over time

thank you so much guys ... i normally buy the 5 gallon jugs cause my acura took 4 and it was cheaper than the individual quarts .... so ill just pour some of it in the filter to put oil on the ring (makes it easier to get off) then pour the rest in the engine.
