I am planning on a boosted truck and have a goal of 400 up with some room to grow afterwards. Now, I am still doing the research, and I have read that a good port and polish on a stock head, GM LS series valves and cavalier springs, and a good cam will do the trick, then I heard that after about 350ish (based on boost) there is chance of head cracks and such. I know the 2.3 stuff is stout, but just how stout is it, and what point should I start worrying about head cracks or anything like that? I am going to go aftermarket header, for better flow and relocating the turbo forward some.
