yeah im retaing the distributor on the svo motor but i didnt grab the coil harness off the wreckd mustang... do i just T into the tfi wires in the proper place and run them to the coil... wat does the 225 ohms stand for on the wiring schematic, is it a resistor and wat does the factory one look like. im prepared to start it but i want to make sure the wiring is 100% so as not to fry it all! thanx guys!!! ive searched every where for a picture of whatever that thing is but no luck.:icon_confused:

I don't know what schematic you are using, but I don't see a resistor in my Chilton's. It could be coil resistance, or something else.

There is a little more to wiring the coil and TFI than just hooking a couple of wires. I would suggest you get a Chilton's #8159 manual. The electrical section will get you up and running.:)shady

...

well i did use the search option found but load of wiring vacuum and iformational diagrams that have been a great help... i do have a chiltons and a haynes and im 100% othere than the coil....its in place but on the turbo engine harness diagram it shows a T(link or connection) from the number 5 pin of the tfi connector... now i have repined my harness with my Uncle Ed Thomas, of Thomas' Motorsports, standing by and he approved of what i did as far as repining the eec conector. he said that its just the power from the ecu for the coil and it shouldnt be a problem... thanks guys hopefully ill gete my build pics up on here even tho their isnt many...
