2.3l Swap?

Will a 2001 2.3 with a 5 speed trans swap directly into a 1994 body that had a 2.3 with a 5 speed trans? I know it will fit and work but the question I'm asking is will I run into anything that won't directly bolt up? Will I have to buy or fab up different motor or trans mounts? Would there be any differences because of the switch from beams to arms? Just don't want to go ahead and buy a motor I can't use. Thanks for any advice.

The 2.3L engine used in 2001 was very different from the one used in 94. The frame, particularly the front area around the engine is also very different.

You would need more than just an engine and trans. You need mounts, wiring, fuel lines, computer, probably a dash due to the instrument cluster changing from a bunch of gears and light bulbs in 94 to a networked module that does things in 2001.
