I have a 95 mazda B2300 (ranger) 2.3L 5 speed 2wd no ps,a/c, anything. I want to turbo it and I have the turbo, the manifold, and pretty much everything else... My queston is, is there a way to mount the turbo but keep the blower box? I love in northwest Ohio and I need my heat in the winter so this is a real problem for me as the turbo hits my blower box right now. Thank you in advance.

notch the box, I cut a wedge out of mine to make it work then took a heat gun and bent it over and zip tied it together and used JB Weld to fill in the gap, if going this route you need to shield the plastic from the heat as mine melted pretty good...

What size turbo did you use? And what manifold? Cause Ive got a decent size turbo and its looking like Ill have to cut off half the box to get it to fit :/

stock Garrett T3/T4

Ah, Ive got a 50 trim, .63 A/R T3/T4 and its physical size looks bad for my poor blower box

I had to cut half mine out to get to fit, then used sheet metal to refab the case. Ive been told the older manifolds set the turbo farther forward, but they dont flow as well. There are also some aftermarket headers that move it forward also, but I dont know anything about them.

Im startin to think I might just make a turbo header, I just have to get ahold of a flange

My eng was out of a 88 t-bird. I took out the AC box and used a regular heater box. I had to cut the lower corner out and invert the piece and epoxyed it back in . I just needed clearance for the o2 sensor. I found thje tip on the Turboford.org. works great.

you could try to locate a bobs log flipped ranger header, or you could contact aj on trf for a set of his flip flanges to flip the e6 manifold... both place the turbo at the front of the engine...

just FYI turbo at front of engine = getting rid of the DIS coils or at least relocating them
