Picked up a bunch of nice 2.3 engine parts, Block, Head, Crank & other goodies. Had the head magnafluxed (no cracks !) Crank measures std and looks great. The block also measures Std bore ! no ridge at top of cylinder. Here comes the problem, The guy cant locate the main caps (bummer!) asked my machine shop guy he said it can take up to 4 or 5 complete sets of caps from other engines to find enough that match close enough to machine to fit, then the block and new caps get line honed. Seems a shame to allow this beautiful std bore block go to waste. anyone out there with a bunch of main caps ? Thx husky30r
