Hi, need a little input on noise when working clutch. It sounds as though clutch cable is rubbing when you use it. Only when you are actually pushing in or releasing it. I'm pretty sure not a throw out bearing or pressure plate issue as it's only when the pedal is traveling. No noise anywhere when you stop the pedal anywhere in it's travel. So, real question is: are there any lube points on that linkage/cable? After screwing around with this setup, I long for the days of solid linkage. Lee

thought they were hydraulic... sounds like you have a case of squeaky pedal, you may need a new truck...

LOL

double check for me in the engine bay that it isnt a fluid system, if it is you might have air in the master, or the shaft might be squeaking on the rubber

You're correct in that it uses the hydralic slave to activate the clutch. I will check the pedal travel and arm going through the firewall area. cylinder is good on fluid, but will give the entire area close look next weekend. Won't have time until then as will be in VA hospital most of the week. Thx for your input. Lee (thought maybe someone had run into it before, no need to reinvent the wheel.) :-)
