2.3 ltr misfire unusual

I have searched far and wide to find a similar thread, I see lots of misfire issues but none quite like mine, so the issue on the vehicle 1994 ranger xlt with a 2.3, is i'm getting no spark from coil pack on cylinder 3 and 4 on the intake side and only cylinder 3 on the exhaust side? its confusing to me because all day ive seen that the coils fire #1&4 on 1 tower and #2&3 on the other, the truck still runs just very very rough, I have replaced all plugs with motorcraft replacements and all wires with generics but new, please help anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
