2.3 help

So I've been told by my old votech teacher for high school and according to his tech program this is a fuel related problem. Any idea on what fuel pressure should be at the rail?

Somewhere between 35 and 45 with the vacuum line off the regulator. It should drop 5-10 psi when you hook the vac line back to it.

Pressure was at 30-31 ish with vac line on. It was actually running when I got the reading, read on a website that pressure should be around 50-70 psi running but it was also on a 2.5l. Im gonna change filter out tomorrow and see if it makes a difference. I also cleaned maf sensor. There was some improvement but didn't solve the problem. Can I use maf cleaner to clean throttle position sensor?

I had also talked to a guy at orielys today, he said it may have something to do with the transmission. Didn't really specify what. Curious on what everyone thinks of that.
