I can bolt a 2.3 EFI head with the d-port intake ports onto my carb'd 83 correct? The best option would be to get a 4 plug head and use that, but if I can't find one I can use the 8 plug EFI head and plug the intake side spark plug holes and then drill and tap the last hole for the manifold.

I'm 99% confident these are my options but I want to get the general consensus before I go get something from the pick and pull and it not work.

Ima Thinkn to much!

To bad it's not last week there was a remanufactured 2.0 head on ebay it sold for $25.00 and 30.00 for shipping.I always wonderd if U could use a v8 dist cap with a custom rotor take 2 rotors slice them in half epoxy the ends 2gether "or use it as a template"and carve 1 from wood and mount the metal pickup's on it so that would fire both plugs at the same time? Mount the plug wire's for the cyl that's firing directly across from each other? After it fired #1 it would do the same at the next 3 depending on if your visualising "half 3" or "all 6" of the dist cap then the other contact "side" of the rotor would be in position to fire #1 cyl again :icon_confused::icon_idea:

GREAT MINDS lol

So weird I was just thinking that exact same thing an hour ago.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work the challenge would be the dist cap are 4,6 n v8 caps 2 piece?Or are some 1 like 4 n 6? The cap on my 460 is 2 piece i dont know if the dist housing on 4,6,n 8's where the cap mounts are the same circumference? The rotor could b carved from wood easy enuff or epoxy the two contact ends 2gether and overlap the pickups for the coil tower.U would have to use v8 rotors I'd think.OOOOO WELL:icon_welder:
