yeah, well im plannin on it real soon and am wondering if its necessary to get the drop shocks or if my stock shocks well manage for awhile anyway
 
When you go 2" +or-, the OEM length shocks are usually fine.

I ran stock length shocks when I was dropped 4" in the back. I did replace them though in under a year. The valving will be different on "dropped" shocks besides the overall length.

I currently have OEM lenght shocks up front since the I-beams don't change the distance of shock travel. I do have dropped shocks on the rear and they need replacing. I am hoping to match my fronts but with shocks that are shorter by looking at the overall dimensions and mounting styles.
