Im thinking of putting a 2-3 Dmj lowering kit on my 03 Ranger Edge. i was wondering if i could get away with keeping my stock shocks since it is not being lowered dramatically??? If i was to put new shocks on my truck what do you suggest for this lowering kit? i have seen bad reviews on the Dmj cal-max shocks. i would love to hear your opinions on the shocks. Please show me your pictures of your truck with this kit!!! any other tips or info for this kit would be great! Thanks.

Seeing as you have an edge the DJM 2/3 kit will not work on your truck. Your truck has Torsion bars, not coil springs. Your best bet to lower the front is un cranking your torsion bars. For the back remove the factory lift blocks and put on shorter U bolts.

Yea pretty much what he said either crank the torsion bars or you can wait untill the reindexed torsion keys are back in stock, I sell them but the manufacturer is on back order right now. As for Shocks I also very Highly recommend Doetsch Nitro Slammers I sell tons of them and people seem to love the ride with them.

Yeah sorry for the ignorant question about the 2/3 I have been doing more research and am a little more educated... i don't really want crank my torsion bars because of the wheel camber... Im not too familiar with the "reindexed torsion keys" what exactly do they do and would i still have to crank the torsion bars... how many inches will it drop? and will is cause wheel camber? Also Im planing on taking out the stock lifting block's in the rear. should i replace my shock with the 2wd shock on a xlt? and would it be ok if i leave the shocks i have now till my money tree grows some more?

thanks for the information i appreciate it i will make sure to purchase from you when i got to lower my truck!
