not to sound stupid but if they are tuned for 2cuft would that make 4 because of the 2 subs? im learning so if i am asking a dumb question... well answer it so i know
yes and no. its best to have two chambers in your box to have 2cuft so you would have 4cu total, but not one big space.
before i get hell you can have two subs sharing a space and port. but its a pita to get right. and some sideeffects like port noise. also your "port" cant be part of your cuft. if you need a 2cuft bo. you cant have a 24x24x24 box with a port in it. you need a 24x24x24 chamber and the port vol added to it. if you look at simple premade boxes there square and the port "wraps" arouond a side of it.
ports are done in vol. just like the box. and they go hand in hand with each other.
