I replaced the fuel filter and that solved my bog problem. I used a inline filter before the fuel filter cause i couldnt find a strainer filter . so everything works for now and i know how much gas i dont have . thanks

You may need to replace the fuel slosh module on the back of the instrument cluster, it's a little box that bolts on back of the cluster.

OK, thanks...I will check to see if I have one when I pull the cluster to change that bulb in the speedometer...the gauge does work, but it's so wonky that it makes it appear as if a short trip uses way more gas than it should...but it averages out so I know it's something with the gauge...

That's good...my system has two filters also...one just before the electric pump and one just before the carb...they are both fairly inexpensive but getting harder to find...

I've yet to see one of them plugged or even see crud in the screen...and they've been installed for about 8 years...just swapped one out last month and the old one was as clean as the new one...
