This truck is new to me - it gets right around 20 MPG in the city - 5 speed Mazda tranny. No power accessories. Seems to me for such a light vehicle that it should be getting better mileage. I don't dog it. I think it is running a bit rich but I don't believe that the OEM carb (Asian) is adjustable.
Any tips to increase mileage, including replacing the carb with something that is adjustable? Can this carb be adjusted (leaned)?
With gas approaching $4 for regular, mileage is becoming more important (I'm sure we're all feeling this...)
Thanks!

I was getting close to 30 mpg at one point with my 2.0...but that was after I replaced the original carb and intake as well as the exhaust header to reduce weight...

The 2.0 was only an option on the standard cab so there is not much you can do to reduce the weight of the vehicle more than it already is...other than tossing the tailgate, but that also helps reduce drag somewhat (or so I've heard)...
