88 2.0 Ranger,
My exhaust manifold was bolted in place? Is this correct, or should there be studs, Does it matter? Does anybody know why the bolts I removed were Square Form Threads (almost acme) with slight deformations at end? If it is a square thread, can you even chase out the head with a standard tap. It looks like a 10mm x 55 long. Can I just replace them wt Standard V thread metric bolts? I Can not find an exhaust manifold kit for this engine? Thanks Ed
