1st gen rear sway bar

just remove it... I'm on 31's without any sway bars and it drives fine... and I don't drive it nice...

I can take a pic of where mine used to be. There are still rust rings left, but I say keep it off. More flex!

i have one and trying to install it. doesn't seem to want to fit my axle. it's off an 87, mine is an '83. should be the same 7.5 axle, but coming up short on the length of the u-bolts as well as double checking the mounting points for the end links. just want to make sure i'm installing it correctly. btw, i'm hauling an extra 27 gal of gas in the aux tank in the bed and towing a camper. need the sway bar for real!

ok, didn't realize that :)

The stock one is so thin I'd be surprised if it makes any difference. I'll look in the manual and see if there's a picture.

I checked in my factory manual and also the haynes I have and sorry to say no picture.

I'll do mine tomorrow and post it up. just remind me.

Sent you a pm. I don't have a rear sway bar, just the tire carrier. Sorry.
