ok when I bought my ranger it already has a 4 in. lift on it, i need to replace the shocks all the way around, Dont know what shocks to get and do they have to be long than the stock ones that come on the truck?

Yes. They need to be longer than stock. Most 4x4 shock suppliers will have info to help you source the right shock. Or you can use the contact info on their site to ask questions. Bilstein, Rancho, Skyjacker, etc. Should be helpful as well as others.

If the shock is too short, it will either limit suspension travel or just simply fall apart from over extending after a few times. If the shock is too long, it will become fully compressed before your suspension is fully compressed. Again, limiting suspension travel.

The rears will definitely need to be longer than stock, but if the front was lifted via spindles all you'll need there are stock length.

Profile says it's a 95. That's a TTB suspension. 4" lift almost has to be suspension brackets.

Ah right on, can't see that stuff on my mobile.

Turn it sideways (landscape mode) when you want to see user profiles.

Oh. Gump already said that.

No doubt those former shocks once worked. Take them with you to the parts store. They will know what to do.

Even before that, you might want to think about the safety and handling concerns about driving something that high up in the air. Lifted is good for off road, but not that good on the highway. If you are not married to that kind of lift, you might look into lowering your truck an inch or two. And if you still like way up high, you might look into getting beefed up sway bars if you don't have them already.

6" lift, 35" tires and no anti-sway bars.

Haven't rolled it yet. 4" lift ain't nothin'.

Thanks, Gump.

I dropped and broke my monitor because the cords were too short, when I tried to turn it sideways.

Now what?

:)

Gorilla tape my friend...
