Try not to wet yourself. It's just the normal thing for a dad to want to be protective of his daughter. I actually had a dad take me aside once after several dates with his daughter and admit to me that he was the sort of dad that had always intended to be sitting there cleaning his gun when his daughter brought a guy home. His daughter knew this and didn't give him enough time to do that when I came the first time and he admitted that after meeting me for the first time, he realized two things...

1) I was a gentleman and didn't really need to be threatened like that.
2) I wouldn't have been scared either. I'm the kinda person that would have plopped down on the couch next to him and asked when we could go shooting.... lol.

I know on the first date with my now Wife. I took the Charger and at the time there was only an am radio in it. I had a little boom box and had a old Kiss Tape had it set to Play "Beth" and then just let the tape play from there.

Any way, we went ate somewhere after that went Tire Shopping, Hey the car was on Bias Ply's and I wanted Radials for a 1200 mile trip I was taking the car on in 2 weeks and was pressed for time to find some nice tires for the car. So were at the Super Walmart wanted to look at the tire selection, and I park way down the lot where there's no cars at. We come out of the store and she said my car Stick's out like a sore thumb. get down to the car and I due the open the door thing for her I get in she say's thanks for opening my door, I replay back "No problem I just didn't want you molsting my Car is all"

yep was good to go from there.

Don't overdo it!

Dress clean but not too fancy. Do and dine at casual places not super places. Save that for when you are dating more seriously.

Definately don't buy a bunch of flowers, I'd even say don't bring a single rose on the first date. Chicks scare easily if you move too quickly, and some of the above is considered as such. Just consider her as a "pal" at first and let things progress naturally.

Be respectful but don't kiss her ass. You have to make decsions (like where to eat, what to do, etc) and be a man to gain her respect but as mentioned, do it respectfully.

By all means, if things go well, call her the next day. But if she doesn't answer, call two times MAX during the next day or two and then leave her alone until she calls you. Any more than that and you scare her away by acting like a stalker. You should'nt appear to be needy either, even if you think she's the most bad-ass chick you've ever met.

Above all be yourself.

Yeah we defnietely want details man. Too bad I didn't catch teh thread before the date.

I remember my first one. It twas a mud date haha. Redneck as hell I know it. I asked her out and so we went out to eat and she asked when I was going to take her mudding cuz she knew we all went all the time. Told her anytime she was ready. She said how bout when we get done eating lmao. So we did haha. That lead to a 5-6 month relationship, towards the end i knew it wasn't gonna last but hey, it was a good experience and I learned alot from it. And that never hurts.
