Planning on doing a swap into my 1999 ranger 4.0 auto. The swap is going to be 4bt/m5r2 or some variant, but the one thing I can not figure out is where the clutch master cyl mounts into the firewall. I have searched high and low for info on this from people who just swap the manual trans behind the 4.0, nobody mentions anything about cutting a hole, or any mods. I have looked extensively inside the truck under the dash, and on the firewall and can not find where a master cyl would mount. Is the mounting location plugged, from the factory, am I missing something, or does it just not exist for an auto truck? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
