Hey just a quick question for any guys who did this swap, do you remove the tin sheild, vacuum seal and put the explorer hub bearing and axle in without those PVH parts? Or do you put excluder seals (3k070) on the explorer axles and into the ranger PVH knucles?

Trick question? :)

I removed the Explorer knuckle from the ball joints (top and bottom); pulled the shaft out of the axle and transferred to the Ranger. After all, the Explorer had been rolled, lost engine and transmission for 5.0 swap on Ranger, rear 8.8, so there wasn't much point leaving anything behind...

Squirrel had received a TT so needed an alignment anyways...

Also wondering why you use the 95-01 explorer hubs rather than the 01-up ranger hubs?

I used the 95-01 Explorer hubs as it was a '96 Explorer that I dismantled..
