1999 explorer seats in 1999 Ranger

I did quite a bit of searching on seat swaps and all I could find were threads about swapping newer seats into older Rangers or older seats into newer Rangers.

I have a 1999 Ranger Extended cab 4x4 that the drivers seat back springs are almost all broken and the seat is pretty tore up. I have a friend that is parting out a 1999 Explorer Eddie Bauer that has good bucket seats in it.

Will the seats bolt in directly since they are the same year or will some conversions have to be made?

I will have to custom build a console since the Ranger is a 5 speed and the console in the Explorer goes clear to the dash.

I believe the seats bolt to the floor just fine, but the seat belt tether bolts directly to the floor on the explorer rather than to the seat like on the Ranger. That's the reason I haven't swapped seats in mine yet.
