Finished the valve jobs. Installed catchcans. Paid Meineke $900 to cut, reweld and install front "Y" cats from Rock Auto.

When all was done I had two codes to sort out:

P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input.
I forgot to plug in the connector. Plugged it in a the code went away.

P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Bank 1
I'm hoping I knocked it off, or forgot to reconnect it.

BUT: Where are the darn sensors??? None of my manuals show where they are located, and I can't find 'em.

Please help! Where are they located? Bank 1 is the passenger side, right? But I'm darned if I can spot where the sensor is. Does anyone have a photo or diagram?

Thanks!!!

Russ

(edit) Here's what the manual shows I should be looking for:

Where Google fails... try Youtube!

Found it. TRQ has a video on replacing the cam sensor on Youtube for 1993-1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 engines. Even though mine is a 1999 the sensor is in the same place. Back of the engine near the firewall.

I checked and sure enough I had not plugged my sensor back in. Plugged it in and all is good!

Posting so other dummies like myself can find the sensors.
