First off I had to get rid of my 93 on 35's cause of the rising gas prices and I picked up this neat little 2wd 2.5L I'm looking to clear a 265/70/16 tire. Since this is my daily driver and will NEVER see any trails I were thinking about going with a simple coil spring spacer for the front (Out back will be a set of 2" shackles) I've searched around a bit and I've found the coil spring spacer on Ebay..How does a 1" thick coil spacer installed on the bottom of the spring give you 3" of lift? Has anyone ever used these spacers? Are they sketchy? I'd much rather purchase a set of 2" or so lift springs but I haven't been able to find any. I dont really want to install a body lift right now because the shocks probably need replacing soon Any help?

look at my thread just above yours there is a link in there about using washers as spacers and they are cheaper i have skyjacker coils but my truck still isnt as level as i want it to be

I do not have the TTB setup like you do. I have the "wishbone" uca and lca setup with the short stubby springs. thanks anyways tho..

Would there happen to be any coil springs from different make or model trucks That work?

oh ok my bad thought you did sorry about that

Thanks, I've seen that thread and I wondered if anybody had any other info. I think I may go with the spring spacer. I will make sure to make a full write up of the spacer and heights/measurments for everybody with the same question I have lol Depending on the outcome, I may make my own 1in body lift.

Also if I were to do the spring spacers for now could I use factory 4x4 shocks?

You can, but you need to modify the mounts, if you read through the thread that I linked you to, you'll see what you have to do. It's not hard to do at all though.
