1998 Ranger XLT 4x4

RanJeep for the win:D

You're going to hell for that. :thefinger:

Thanks man, my buddy ran the same tires unstudded and they still work pretty good. You have the w409's too right? The stud pattern is really chattery though.

Hey just checking in and seeing how the ranger has been doin. looks great :yahoo:

Thanks! Been doing good for far except I beleive my fuel pressure regulator may be on the fritz. When I jump in the truck in the morning I have to cycle the fuel pump a couple times to get enough pressure to start but it's a free solution so no complaints! Going to do some GTing soon and the Ranger is toy hauler so I'll nab some pics playing in the snow.

"Check Engine" light on with no noticable difference in operation.

Getting it scanned ASAP.

Check engine light cleared.

o2 sensor slowly switching malfunction and cylinder 1 misfre. Performance test couldn't replicate it so I am all good.

Plus I got a new battery since mine was pooched.

CEL came back on while driving with no difference in driveability so I'm thinking I'll just ignore it and replace my o2 sensor in the spring.

So I found a little packet of PS safe dye for 10 bucks. I though alright that sounds OK. I look at it and it says it reacts to UV light. I look over at the shelf next to it and the detection kit was $50. No thanks, I'm going to check the local NAPA to see if they have any that reacts to LED light instead. worst case scenarion I think I will get the $10 stuff and just try to use and LED flashlight and see what happens.

Its prolly been mentioned but you can get a standard uv bulb to fit your drop light at dollar general for a few bucks.

Yeah I picked one up at Canadian Tire. It's the steering rack. ATF stop leak helped a lot. Good to hear from you man:icon_thumby:

Driving to my other job this evening with the CEL on, I heard a very faint 'pop' and it went out. When I went to go inside I turned the key to 'ON' just to make sure the bulb didn't burn out:D. And it didn't, so I guess the "Ignore it and hope it goes away" method actually worked... for this time... for now:icon_rofl:

This situation ahas made me changed my avatar to the completely relavent picture you see at left.

As you all know I have a Cloud-Rider grille insert on my truck. Great product and recommend it to everyone.

It looks awesome but it was missing something and I wasn't sure what until I walked through Canadian Tire tonight. And tomorrow morning I'll be putting the new and improved insert on that went from this...

I think it looks way better. And the decals came in a 2 pack so I have another one handy.
