Nice truck!
So I found a little packet of PS safe dye for 10 bucks. I though alright that sounds OK. I look at it and it says it reacts to UV light. I look over at the shelf next to it and the detection kit was $50. No thanks, I'm going to check the local NAPA to see if they have any that reacts to LED light instead. worst case scenarion I think I will get the $10 stuff and just try to use and LED flashlight and see what happens.
Its prolly been mentioned but you can get a standard uv bulb to fit your drop light at dollar general for a few bucks.
Driving to my other job this evening with the CEL on, I heard a very faint 'pop' and it went out. When I went to go inside I turned the key to 'ON' just to make sure the bulb didn't burn out. And it didn't, so I guess the "Ignore it and hope it goes away" method actually worked... for this time... for now
This situation ahas made me changed my avatar to the completely relavent picture you see at left.
