Do you have low oil pressure or something? That's not a common issue that I know of, although now that I think about it I have heard some about those oil pumps but I don't remember what...

O rings should be easier than the gasket I would imagine, if I had to guess they are going to be metric, measuring the cross section with calipers and probably round up to the nearest size then check the OD of the oil pump hole for the OD then going to a hydraulic shop somewhere close or sometimes auto parts stores...

No problem with the pressure i am rebuilding the engine at 115k ... looking down into the gears its ok, but the seals are hard... one is one and three eights other is one and half inch dia... i will try ace hardware first

only 115k? did something stupid happen or are you just in there for something else? My '97 has 170k on it and isn't showing any signs of anything goofy...

Not sure Ace is going to have much, NAPA would be a better bet but I don't know what's in your world

Nothing at ace or local parts stores i am in central California i bought the ranger thinking it would be an easy fix ... oil leak and running rough had blow by so bad it pushed the oil out the dipstick ... the landings between the piston rings broke on two pistons scratching up the bore bad on 1. so i pulled the engine getting rebore the oil pump /crank looks ok, but if i can not find the O rings i will have to get a pump, already spend several hours lookin for O rings.... machine shop said if the cylinders are worn the piston is banging off the cylinder walls..

I could only find those O rings at my dealer and it cost nearly $40 but that was back around 2013. They are a very specific size from my understanding.
