Do ya’ll think the new , truck will outlast the 1998.

Probably not because the new ones are more complex. Although I have 83k on my 2020 and no issues so far.

thats a bummer on your 98. i want to get a new ranger, and it sounds good in my head to get one but than i see the cost. and i cannot get a standard transmission is a bummer. i love that about my 04 ranger. it feels sporty even though its not a sports truck

i think the new ones should last a good amount of miles. tolerances are tighter, electronics are better, its just whether your new truck was built friday or maybe monday after some event that kept the assemblymen up late.
