1998 60/40 seats

Can anyone tell me what other years of the 60/40 seats will fit my 1998 ext cab? I did do a search, but mostly find conversions....The 1998 seats in my ranger are getting really rough. So any help you guys can give me?

I don't know anything about the '98+ rangers, but I've heard from several people that the seat belts in those year rangers are installed in the seats. The older rangers (pre-97) have the seat belts bolted straight to the cab.

I think (but don't take my word for gold) that you'll just have to find better seats out of the same generation pickup.

Or, find an automotive upholstery shop. They can do wonders to seats that have lost their life.

The seatbelts bolt directly to the cab in the 98+.

Not sure where they mount up in any other generations, but the bolts on my 99 are right behing both seats near the door jamb, and right underneath the seat in the center.

Ok, maybe I just misunderstood someone when they said that the seatbelts went through the seats...


I thought something was wrong when I was imagining them bolted to the seats... That's just not strong enough.
