Please take a few seconds and I have a 1998 ford ranger 4x4 OHV 4.0L V6, it ticks when its in gear, and when its in park or neutral and warm, if I blip the throttle it will make the ticking noise for just a fraction of a second. the noise gets louder when the truck is warm and in gear. the noise is the exact same in a fellow members youtube video
