My step-son's 97 Ranger (4.0 engine, 4X2 automatic) tranny is gone. Are there any other years that will fit his truck. I can't find a 1997 anywhere. Everyone says it's one of a kind and 1997 is the only one that will work because of it either comes with or without an overdrive drum sensor. With all the help you guys have given me in the past I'm hoping someone has knowledge of a different tranny that will work. Thanks
