I have a 96 ranger and don't like the seats and center console. I was thinking about picking up these seats but there is no center console. I can try to get one from the junk yard, but can anyone post a pic of their 97 interior so I can see where it goes. When I say center console I mean the little storage area that doubles as an arm rest.

Won't work with those seats, that is a base model split bench seat.

You need buckets for a center console to work, or the 60/40 split seats with the flip down armrest.

Ah I see thank you. Do you think a 60/40 bench out of an 05 will bolt into my truck? I can get one for 175

I think as long as you have a super cab and use seats from another super cab of a different year, it should just bolt right in. Not 100% on that thou.

aslong as u have the 60/40 or buckets already then u can put any other 60/40 buckets right into the truck, even if the factory mounting holes in the body are different all ford seats have multiple mounting holes on the seat themselves for the bracket to be in different spots

u could take f-150 buckets and put them into it if u wanted to...they all interchange

Awesome, thank you

All ranger seats bolt to all ranger seat tracks. Lots of other seats work, you just have to tap the holes on the seat frame.

Hi seh6183, all are good advice to you. I will suggest you, when you see the ranger seats then check it's length because your vehicle in old. it's rackets, nut bolt...

not really, factory bolts have tapers on them for self tapping...well every pair or ranger seats ive changed for expedetion seats etc, cougar, mustang etc lol

I put Explorer buckets and an Explorer center console in my '97 SuperCab. The only thing I had to do was swap the seatbelt hardware. I also haven't gotten around to mounting the center console, but that's just going to entail cutting the carpet and drilling some holes in the floor.

Edit: My seats also came from a 2 door Explorer, so the seats slide and tilt forward to let you in the back like they should.
