So it started with me replacing the Harmonic Balancer Pulley.

After that it's been one bloody thing after a fricken nother.

All brand new coil packs/spark plugs/wires and fuel pump.

No spark and pump won't turn on while it's installed into the tank.

Now that I'm at this point, I'm lead to believe that it's a ground issue but so far no dice..

Only thing that's really odd and absolutely Maddening.
Is that the OBD2 Port, when I plug my scanner into it, it gives the scanner power but they won't communicate with each other.

Fuses and relays are all golden and so far my grounds are fine. It would be awesome if anyone could help out with the ground locations, I think I found them all but I'd be ecstatic to know if I overlooked one or some.

Never faced this problem before, especially all together and I'm bloody stumped.

Any help is highly appreciated

Is your PCM power relay clicking and passing power?

I will check in a few minutes whether or not it clicks when I turn the ignition on but I have a relay tester that I've used quite a few times with this truck and every relay passes with flying colours with the device

Look in the socket where the relay plugs in and make sure it's in good shape. The PCM power relay is where it all starts, and it sends power to all the 12v stuff for the computer and also power for the computer.

I haven't looked at the diagrams too closely for this model, but I know some models will not communicate with the computer if the cigarette lighter fuse is blown.

So all my relays are clicking, at the correct timing I haven't a clue because my only 2 devices I have left that work as a multimeter are broken.
Where it plugs in looks okay to the naked eye but just for sh*ts and giggles I made sure it makes a proper connection.

After overlooking everything for the umpteenth time, I found that a PCM MAXI fuse was blown and for some reason I am missing another MAXI 50 amp fuse that goes to my ignition when it was clearly there before since I haven't had any issues with the ignition system yet.

hopefully that cures the issue but at this point, 2 years later, I would be surprised

Yeah everything was working after that but my battery exploded afterwards.
Nothing seems wrong except now my fuel pump isn't turning on anymore with the key.all the fuses are fine.im not sure what happened to my relay tester but that's where I'm left at the moment

So I've got everything fixed from before except all I'm. Getting is a strong crank with no start.

My code reader only pulls up P1000.

Won't allow me to check anything.

Any ideas?

Did you spray starting fluid down the engine and try it? If that doesn't work, did you check for spark?

Yeah I tried starter fluid and it tried starting one time. After that it hasn't had spark. The injectors also aren't pulsing

Timing pickup? Should have a crankshaft position sensor right?

Timing is on point.i haven't been wanting to go back at the CPS but things are pointing towards it having something wrong unless my coil packs are faulty
