Hello,
I apologize if I put this in the wrong spot as I am in a bit of a hurry. I found the instructions/pictures for drum to disk conversion on this site
http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/ford_ranger_rear_disc_brake_conversion.shtml
I have a few questions about this swap. First the reason I am talking is because I was given the part number for my 10 inch backing plates and in talking to a couple of sites that say they have it they unfortunately can not get the RH side for the 10 inch backing plate. So I decided I will just convert them to disk.
I know my truck is not in that list so I know that this conversion will fit.
So first question is do I need to remove the rear end to install this conversion (like I would if I was to replace the backing plates?
Second about how long does this take to do this conversion?
Third is there any other advice you can give me in converting my truck over to the mustang disks?
Thank you very much for your time and help I greatly appreciate you guys taking the time to help me,
Peace
