1996 4.0L 4x4 Explorer interchangeable trans

What transmissions are interchangeable for the Explorer in 1996 that is 4x4? I know that the trans is a 4r55e and I believe that a 5r55e will swap, but are there any other options? The only stipulation is that it has to be automatic, my friend cannot drive a stick.
