So I have a 1996 2.3 5speed. The other day it started getting hard to shit into gear. The next day I completely lost my clutc pedal and could only get out of gear by yanking the shifter. I replaced the master cylinder and bled the system numerous times using the pumping method and a vacuum pump. Still no pedal and can't get in/out of gear. Is it my slave cylinder? I have attached two pictures from inside the bell housing. It looks like it's leaking to me but this is the first standard transmission I have owned. Any information will be greatly appreciate.

Thanks, Jake

leak

As far out as the pressure plate fingers are its time for a clutch too, break out the wallet and do it all:bawling:

Since I have to drop the transmission I had planned on doing the clutch as well. So it definitely needs a clutch and slave?
