Alright... I am going to go look at this truck tomorrow, and I wanted to hear some feedback from the owners or ex-owners of a 1995 Ford Ranger 4x4 Cab Plus. Thanx.

It has 127k miles
3,995 cash

Any pointers on what to look for?

rust under plastic fender guards, go on a dirt road, and lock it in 4wd and do sharp turns, listen for clicking in the front end(sign of U-joints getting ready to go usually), other than that the normal stuff, tranny fluid look good, tranny shiftts fine, etc.

If it has a roof vent, they tend to leak. Check it and make sure the rubber isnt dry/cracked. If it is.. no biggie, its an easy fix.
Other than that, I have no clue.

I was gonna say the pink stripes and STX logo's are kind of girly, but then I remembered who posted this.. Haha.

Looks like a nice little truck, not a fan of the strait brush guard. I'm more of a.. curvy.. person.

Take a look at the rubber areas at the tops of the doors. They are prone to metal rot underneath. Check the front end for play in the ball joints too. Are you replacing the Mazda?

I can never replace the Mazda...

Thanx all, I will be sure to check all that and more

FYI, It likes they like to be in park or neutral I believe to shift into 4Low.

Look at the rear brake lines they tend to rot out.

Look at the spring shackles and hangers. They tend to rot out.

I have a 97 supercab 4x4. great truck.
