Looks to be a 4R55E. Is there any other auto tranny I can find that bolts right up and is as strong if not stronger? There are no 4R55E's available around my area.

I believe 5R55Es also work, not 100% positive though.
^To an extent, yes. You have to change the bellhousing, and NSS sensor.
